REGISTER YOUR ORGANIZATION AND FUNDING SOURCE FOR
WETLAND AND/OR STREAM RESTORATION
The primary goal of this registry is for wetland mitigation and restoration.  Finding the right project to invest
public and private restoration funding can be a challenge and that is where  the  Watershed Institute
National Wetlands Registry can help. Once funding information is received, the National Wetlands
Coordinator will contact you to discuss your conservation goals.  All inquiries about funding will be directed
to the National Wetlands Coordinator, Frank Austenfeld who will notify you if a potential match has been
found.

The secondary goal yet equally important is to have a national central registry database listing every
wetland in the United States of America.  This official registry is for all 50 states.
The Watershed Institute provides this National Wetland Registry site as a service to both private and public
landowners, as well as the conservation and business community. In this capacity, the Watershed Institute
serves as a national clearinghouse, finding connections between those who own property on which they
wish to restore wetlands and those who desire or need to participate in wetland restoration activities.
